[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”130″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]1. Each team will be required to have 11 players on the field at all times. If one team loses a player, each team will play with 10 and one team will have 1 sub.

2. Each team, when in possession of the ball, has 4 downs to reach a first down. Teams may pass, run, kick, or punt the ball during these downs. First downs will be located on the twenty and forty yard lines on both sides of the field.

3. When on offense, teams must have at least 6 players on the line of scrimmage at the start of play.

4. In order to end a down, a defensive player must remove the offensive player’s flag belt. Blocking is normal football blocking as long as it is above the waist. Chop blocking is not allowed.

5. Touchdowns are worth 6 points. After a touchdown is scored, the team that scored can elect to try for 1 extra point (from the 3 yard line) or 2 extra points (from the 10 yard line).

6. After an extra point, the ball will be placed at the offense’s own 25 yard line.

7. Normal football rules apply to play designs. Running and passing plays are allowed.

8. Defensive players must make a play on the ball, not on the player (AKA no head hunting).

9. For a catch to count, the receiver must have control of the ball and one foot landing in bounds.

10. No flag guarding while running with the ball. (Flag guarding is a stiff arm below the elbow)

11. Stiff arms must be on the torso or above the elbow on the arm.

12. Touchdown celebrations are allowed as long as no harm is done to the animals of the rain forest.

13. A deliberate tackle will result in a 15 yard penalty and the player who made the tackle will sit out the rest of the series.

14. Everyone on offense is eligible to catch a pass.

15. There will be no rush on punts and field goals. Defensive players may jump but cannot cross the line of scrimmage. Offensive players are allowed to extend their arms and engage the defense without taking a step.

16. For punts, the punting team is allowed 2 gunners who can leave the line of scrimmage when the ball is hiked. Everyone else must stay within five yards of the line of scrimmage until the ball is kicked.

17. Both your flags must be fully visible at all times.

18. In terms of the ball carrier being down without their flag being pulled, they must have at least one knee on the ground. (NCAA Rules)

19. MVP voting will consist of only players that are playing in the game.

20. Everyone who watched the entire game is eligible to vote for the All-Turkey Team. Each person will vote for 5 players from the winning team and 4 players from the losing team. The captain of the winning team receives an automatic spot on the All-Turkey Team, so he will not require votes.

21. 4 Quarters of 15 min. will be the timing of the game. During the last 5 min. of the 2nd and 4th quarters, normal NFL clock stoppage rules apply.
